Job Description
The postdoc project will involve two primary goals:
- Developing novel cleavable linkages that activate peptide therapeutics upon bond breakage.
- Creating new methods for localized chemical modification of native peptides to increase their resistance to enzymatic breakdown.
Duties will include:
- Conducting research within synthetic organic chemistry on peptides.
- Performing chemical modification of proteins.
- Engaging in peptide medicinal chemistry.
- Undertaking teaching responsibilities.
- Potentially performing other duties as required by the department.
