Fellowship: Applications are invited for a post (one) of Post-Doctoral Fellowship under the ICMR Scheme valid for 36 months. The PDF will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 56,000/- P.M. + HRA 20% @Rs. 11,200 /- P.M. = Rs. 67,200 X12 (Increment 5% on initial emoluments after completing for every 2 years). The post is purely temporary.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree from an Indian University/Institute with NIRF ranking up to 20 (or from a foreign university) in Organic Chemistry and must have a proven track record with published work of at least two papers in Q1 or Q2 journals in the relevant area. Candidates having experience in heterocyclic chemistry, multi-step organic synthesis would be preferred. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates would be preferred as per GOI rules. The upper age limit shall be as per university rules (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Physically handicapped and women candidates.
Desirable Qualifications:
- D. in Organic Synthesis.
- The candidate should have good chemical synthetic skills.
- The knowledge of characterization techniques of organic molecules is desirable
- The candidate should have good communication skills.
