Eligibility-
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Ph.D. in Structural Biology with specialization in infectious diseases such as parasitology.
- M.Sc. in Biology/Biotechnology with an outstanding academic record and minimum 80% aggregate marks.
- At least 7 years of hands-on research experience in Structural Biology of infectious diseases after post-graduation.
- Strong expertise in advanced structural biology techniques relevant to pathogen research and vaccine development.
Relaxation:
A relaxation of 5% marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates as per applicable rules.

Job/Position Description-

Designation: Research Associate (01 Post)
The selected candidate will work on a cutting-edge malaria vaccine research project involving:
- Identification of key ligands and ligand complexes on Plasmodium falciparum merozoites.
- Application of Cryo-EM, proteomics, and immunological approaches.
- Structural characterization of pathogen molecules involved in malaria infection.
- Analysis of host-pathogen interactions.
- Supporting the development of an effective blood-stage malaria vaccine.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary researchers and contributing to project objectives.
Salary: ₹67,000 per month + 27% HRA as per project norms. For retired/superannuated government employees selected for the position, remuneration will be fixed according to IIT Delhi IRD rules.
