About- National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi is an Autonomous Research Institution funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, to pursue research on various aspects of plant genomics. The Institute is also in the process of establishing a NIPGR Translational Centre at Biotech Science Cluster, NCR, Faridabad. Research/Job Area- Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Plant Science/Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or equivalent
Location- National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi, India
Eligibility/Qualification–
Upper age limit: 40 years.
- Candidates having a master’s degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Plant Science/Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or equivalent from a recognized university or equivalent with eight years’ experience after master’s degree in Research and Development in an academic and industrial institution or science and technology organizations and as mentioned in DST office memorandum number SR/S9/Z05/2019 dated July 10, 2020, are eligible to apply.
- Candidates with prior experience in LC-MS/MS, proteomics, qualitative and post-translational modification proteomics, protein-interaction, multi-omics and system biology will be given preference.
OR
- Doctoral degree in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Plant Science/Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics or equivalent from a recognized university or equivalent with four years experience after a doctoral degree in Research and Development in academic and industrial institutions or science and technology organizations with at least one research paper in SCI journal can apply as mentioned in DST office memorandum number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020.
- Candidates with prior experience in LC-MS/MS, proteomics, qualitative and post-translational modification proteomics, protein-interaction, multi-omics and system biology will be given preference.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from suitable candidates to fill the purely temporary position in the DBT-funded project “Advanced Inter-institutional Proteomics Facility” under Dr. Subhra Chakraborty, Director, NIPGR.
Principal Project Associate (One post): Rs. 49,000 + 24% HRA
