Eligibility/Qualification-
| Minimum Qualifications | Ph.D degree in Bioinformatics, Biology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates who have submitted their thesis and awaiting the award of a Ph.D. degree may also apply. Candidates should provide evidence of having conducted high-quality research during or after their Ph. D. program. Candidates should have experience in python and R programming and dealing with next generation sequencing data. Desirable qualifications: Knowledge of yeast genetics, meiosis, DNA repair, or genome biology is a plus. |

Job/Position Description-
The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position purely on a contract basis:

| Fellowship | Rs. 58000/- p.m. + 9% HRA if the candidate produces the Ph.D. Certificate. Rs. 42000/- p.m. + 9% HRA – for those candidates whose Ph. D. degree is awaited. However, the candidate must produce a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending. A nominal research grant will be available under this program. |
