Research Fellow in Synthetic Chemistry: The Faculty of Life Sciences at UCL is seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow with expertise in Synthetic Organic Chemistry to join a Leverhulme funded project on “Tuning into Frustrated Lewis Pairs Using Microwave Rf” under the supervision of Dr Duncan Browne. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and drive the finalization of the first report and exploitation of the project findings.

Eligibility/Qualification:

A PhD degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry or a related field is required. The candidate should have experience in designing, synthesizing, and characterizing organic molecules, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description:

The Research Fellow will be responsible for managing the project, working closely with collaborators, generating and interpreting microwave data, and gaining a deeper understanding of the potential of Frustrated Lewis Pairs.
