The BNMS team at Relaix Group, affiliated with UPEC, investigates the neuromuscular system’s biology, from fundamental research in muscle stem cells to the deep characterization of diseased muscle. The team comprises researchers, medical doctors, and veterinarians with a multidisciplinary approach, and the aim is to translate cutting-edge science to therapeutic approaches.
Designation: Post-Doctoral Researcher
Research Area: Biology of the NeuroMuscular System
Location: Paris, France
Eligibility/Qualification:
PhD in Bioscience with knowledge in muscle stem cell biology and laboratory techniques.
Experience: Experience in standard laboratory techniques and manipulation of rodents.
Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of single-cell/nuclei transcriptomics, bio-informatics, microscopy, and image analysis.
Job Description: The BNMS team at Relaix Group is seeking several post-doctoral researchers with a PhD in Bioscience, preferably in muscle biology, to join their team in Paris, France. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in muscle stem cell biology and laboratory techniques, and experience in standard laboratory techniques and manipulation of rodents. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of single-cell/nuclei transcriptomics, bio-informatics, microscopy, and image analysis.
The selected candidates will work on the following projects:
- Evaluate the disease trajectory in muscle disorders and develop new targeted therapies, with a strong focus on senescence gene and pharmacological therapies.
- Development of stem cell-targeted gene and pharmacological therapies.
- Perform in-depth analysis of the impact of systemic exposure to pollution for tissue repair using single nuclei approach and bio-informatics.
