Eligibility/Qualification–

Candidates must possess:

• Ph.D. (awarded) in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or other allied areas.
• First class in all preceding degrees.
• Candidates claiming reservation benefits under SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwD or EWS must possess the required certificates in the prescribed Government of India format at the time of application.

Job/Position Description- 

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Agartala (IIIT Agartala) has invited applications from qualified Indian Nationals for the recruitment of Assistant Professor Grade-II (On Contract) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The position is offered through direct recruitment and is intended for candidates with a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or allied areas.

Recruitment Details

The salary includes applicable allowances and benefits such as HRA, Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, NE Allowance and NPS employer contribution, as per Government of India/Institute rules.

The selected candidate will join the Department of Computer Science & Engineering as an Assistant Professor Grade-II and contribute to the Institute’s academic and research activities.

The recruitment process may include a Written Test and/or Technical Presentation and Interview. The Selection Committee may devise selection criteria depending on the number of applications received. Candidates are required to appear in person for the Technical Presentation and Interview; candidates residing abroad may participate through video conferencing at their own risk.

The appointment is initially for 3 years, extendable by 2 years, with applicable service benefits.
