Job Description:
Post-Doctoral Position in Organic Chemistry: Automated Synthesis of Original Chemical Libraries in Continuous-Flow
The project, funded by the “Initiative excellence” (IdEx) from Strasbourg, focuses on developing automated sequential couplings in continuous flow, utilizing the orthogonal reactivity of difunctional coupling partners to generate small libraries of highly functionalized polyheterocyclic structures. The research will explore photo and metal-catalyzed coupling strategies. The synthesized compounds will become part of compound libraries at LIT and the CNRS French Chemical Library for future screening campaigns. Additionally, the most promising reactants will be selected to yield virtual libraries of approximately 100,000 chemically diverse compounds for systematic in silico screening against targets of ongoing research programs.
How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit the following documents to Dr. Pertschi Romain at [rpertschi@unistra.fr]:
- Detailed CV
- Research summary
- Motivation letter
- Recommendation letters
Last Date for Apply: Application deadline is October 19th, 2023. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in organic chemistry and automated synthesis at the Université de Strasbourg.
