Fully Funded Postdoctoral Position: The Human Verbal Communication Laboratory at the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neuroscience (CIN) in Tübingen is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join their team. This fully funded position, part of a project on the neural basis of speech comprehension in high-functioning autistic adults, offers a flexible starting date in February 2024 or later. The successful candidate will be responsible for experimental design, data collection, analysis, and research dissemination, with opportunities to build an individual research profile.

  • Interest in and motivation to contribute to the understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders

Job Description:

Fully Funded Postdoctoral Position at the Human Verbal Communication Laboratory

The Human Verbal Communication Laboratory focuses on auditory cognition, speech perception, and verbal communication. The research involves the study of general sensory and language networks in relation to cognitive functions. Various methods, including intracranial electrophysiology, scalp electrophysiology (EEG and MEG), and psychophysics, are employed alongside advanced computational techniques. The successful candidate will participate in local and international collaborations, engage in research design, data acquisition and analysis, and have the opportunity to contribute to the understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders. The position is funded for 2 years with the possibility of extension.
