About- Harish-Chandra Research Institute, an autonomous institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, India, is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow for a three-year contract under the “Advancement towards Stable and Highly Efficient Solar cell based on Halide perovskite (ASHESH) Project” as part of Dr. Sudip Chakraborty’s DST Solar Challenge Award.

Location- Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Prayagraj (Allahabad)

Eligibility/Qualification–

Candidate having Ph.D. in Physics or relevant field, having a proven expertise in Computational Condensed Matter Physics can apply. The track record in publishing International journals in the field of Computational Physics and Materials Science, while having experience in electronic structure codes, both development and applications are desired.

Upper Age limit: Candidate should be less than 35 years as on last date of filling of application form.

Job/Position Description-

Harish-Chandra Research Institute, an Autonomous Institute under Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, wants to fill up the following position on contractual basis under the “Advancement towards Stable and Highly Efficient Solar cell based on Halide perovskite (ASHESH) Project” as part of DST Solar Challenge Award of Dr. Sudip Chakraborty. The initial contract will be for One year and will be renewed further depending upon the candidate’s performance and project extension. The position may be transferred, in case the coordinator i.e. Dr. Sudip Chakraborty takes a transfer elsewhere.

Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (PDF): 01 post for 3 years (Starting from 01″ Jan. 2024)

Salary: Consolidated emoluments Rs.58,000 per month, House Rent Allowance extra as per rules, if accommodation is not provided by the Institute.
