Designation/Position- Assistant Professor-Guest Faculty
The institution invites eligible candidates to attend a walk-in interview for the guest appointment of Assistant Professor(s) for the Academic Session 2025–26. The appointment is purely on a guest faculty basis and will be governed by UGC norms. One vacant position is available in the Department of Biomedical Science, reserved for the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category.
Research / Teaching Area: Biomedical Science
Eligibility/Qualification:
Qualifications shall be as prescribed by UGC regulations for appointment of regular Assistant Professors in Universities/Colleges.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories must bring self-attested copies of certificates issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed Government of India format.
OBC candidates must:
- Belong to the Non-Creamy Layer
- Have their caste listed in the Central List of OBCs
- Submit a Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued after 31 March 2024, as per DOPT O.M. No. 36036/2/2013-Estt. (Res-I) dated 31 March 2016
Retired teachers may also apply, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.

Designation: Guest Assistant Professor
Deliver lectures and academic instruction in Biomedical Science as assigned.
The guest faculty shall be paid an honorarium of ₹1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹50,000 per month, as per UGC letter No. F.25-1/2018 (PS/Misc.) dated 28.01.2019.
Faculty members already employed in Colleges/Universities may take guest classes over and above their prescribed workload, as per Notification No. EstabT/workload/2022/1883 dated 14.11.2022.
Such candidates must submit:
- A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the parent institution.
- A certificate confirming completion of the prescribed workload.
A guest faculty member may teach up to 04 credit courses per semester and only in one institute/college other than the parent institution.
The number of posts may vary depending on workload requirements.
