It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. This deemed-to-be university is recognized by MHRD and accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade (3.48 CGPA). JSS AHER has been graded as Category-I Deemed-to-be University by UGC.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Name of the Post and Number	Qualifications
Assistant Professor (01) Expertise Required Analytical Chemistry/ Metabolomics	Essential: Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Life Sciences/ Immunology/ Microbiology Desirable:  Minimum 2 years of Postdoctoral experience in relevant area demonstrated by scholarly publications. Experience in operating LC-MS/MS and or GC-MS/MS, NMR and data analysis as demonstrated by publications
Assistant Professor (01) Expertise Required Molecular Biology/Genome Sequencing/ Genetics	Essential:   Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Genetics Desirable:  Minimum 2 years of Postdoctoral experience in relevant area as demonstrated by scholarly publications
Assistant Professor (01) Expertise Required Nanotechnology	Essential:    Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical chemistry/Pharmaceutics/Pharm. Analysis Desirable:  Minimum 2 years of Postdoctoral experience in relevant area as demonstrated by scholarly publications. Experience in molecular techniques, sample processing, operating NGS as demonstrated by publications
Assistant Professor (01) Expertise Required Performing advanced GIS analysis and modelling related to public health and hospital data	Essential: M.Sc. / M. Tech. degree in geoinformatics with Ph.D. in concerned subjects from recognised university with at least 2 years of experience in using advanced geospatial analytical tools. Desirable: In addition, preference will be given to the candidates having technical experience to create customized tools and maintain ESRI Arc-GIS based applications, JAVA script API, Google Earth Engine, Python, etc.

Job/Position Description- 

Applications are invited for the Faculty and Research positions available under the DBT-BUILDER project for a period of 5 years on the thematic area:

1. Novel biomarkers and therapeutics

2. Nanotheranostics and

3. Spatial health informatics for prevention and management of CVD. 

The appointment will be purely on a temporary basis and the details are as below. 

Assistant Professor: 04 with a Salary of Rs. 50,000/- (Consolidated) per month

Junior Research Fellow: 04 with a Salary of Rs. 31000/- + HRA per month
