About- RRU invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor / Assistant Professor of Practice from suitable candidates in any discipline. The Assistant Professor / Assistant Professor of Practice are expected to play key pedagogical and leadership roles in the development of RRU. This includes developing centers, clusters of innovation, courses and programs, engaging with students and faculty, and reaching out to security organizations, industry including security related MSMEs. Candidates will also contribute to activities and design projects, facilitate novel pedagogical practices by promoting active learning, creativity, and innovations, and teach graduate and undergraduate courses at RRU.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Educational Qualification & Experience for Assistant Professor other than Engineering and Technology

Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university with having National Eligibility Test (NET) and / or PhD in the relevant area.

OR

Ø Educational Qualification & Experience for Assistant Professor (Information Technology/ Applied Engineering Technology)

First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate or a relevant branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech) and in relevant area.

OR

Ø Educational Qualification & Experience for Assistant Professor of Practice

Master Degree in the relevant field of expertise with minimum 5 years of experience may be appointed as Assistant Professor of Practice

 Age limit for recruitment: 65 years or less on the date of application.

Job/Position Description-

An interview for the following Teaching positions purely on a contractual basis are being scheduled at Rashtriya Raksha University, Lavad, Ta- Dahegam, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, INDIA

The contractual appointment shall end on the stipulated date of expiry of contract in appointment letter. Selected candidates shall have no right to renewal, extension of conversion into permanent employment. The contract period may be renewable as per the needs of the University, performance and the availability of funding.
