About- CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI), Karaikudi, is a premier institute working under the aegis of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body functions under Department of Science & Technology, involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes in the domain of Electrochemical Science and Technology. The thrust areas of research include Corrosion & Materials Protection, Electrochemical Power Sources, Electroplating & Metal Finishing, Electrochemical Process Engineering, Electro-organic & Materials Electrochemistry, Electrodics & Electrocatalysis,Networking Systems and Instrumentation. Eligibility/Qualification–
- Essential: Ph.D. in relevant disciplines (Science/Engineering) OR M.Tech/M.E. in the appropriate research area as specified for each post.
- Experience: Post-doctoral research experience in specific domains may be required/preferred for certain positions.
- Upper Age Limit: Usually 32-37 years for Scientist level (check individual posts).
- Reservation: Applicable as per Government of India norms (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Women).
