Eligibility/Qualification–

1. Minimum Qualifications for direct recruitment as an Assistant Professor (Level — 10, Entry Pay 57,7000

1. Engineering / Technology

B. E. / B. Tech, / B. S. and M. B. / M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch ‘‘. ith first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.

11. Science & Humanities

A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Minimum Qualifications for direct recruitment as an Associate Professor (Level — 13A, Entry Pay 1,31,4000

I. Engineering / Technology

Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch

AND

At least total 6 research publications in SC1 journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.

AND

Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

II. Science & Humanities

A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University.. College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix IL Table 2. (Please refer to UGC Regulations Notification No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS) Dated 18th July, 2018)

Minimum Qualifications for direct recruitment as a for Professor (Level — 14, Entry Pay 1,44,200/-)

I. Engineering / Technology

Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.

AND

Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.

AND

At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.

At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.

IL Science & Humanities

An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of HD research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix 11, Table 2. (Please refer to UGC Regulations Notification No. F.1-2/2017(ECIPS) Dated 18th July. 2018)
A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

B. An outstanding professional. having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years’ experience.

PAY SCALES

Professor	: Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/- (Level-14)
Associate Professor	: Rs. 1.31,400-2,17,100/- (Level-13A)
Assistant Professor	: Rs. 57.700-1,82,400/- (Level- 10)
