Eligibility/Qualification–

Centre for Energy Studies at ASCI is looking for Assistant Professor (Regulatory Affairs), who have deep interest in power sector domain and wants to pursue their career in this area through policy analysis, action research, implementation support and strategic communications. 

Applicants should be able to actively assist the Professors/Associate Professors, in teaching, consultancy, development of case studies and in applied research. 

The applicant must have experience in power and energy domain, preferably in regulatory affairs, energy economics, power sector consulting and research.  Any teaching experience in energy domain will be added advantage. The applicant must have hands on experience in SPSS/STATA/R, and financial modeling in energy sector. The applicant should have demonstrated exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. 

Assistant Professor (Regulatory Affairs), Centre for Energy Studies

1. B.Tech or M.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical)  and 

MBA (with specialisation in Power/Energy/Energy Economics) or equivalent  2. Minimum 5 years of experience

Desirable Qualification

PhD (Energy Economics / Energy / Power Sector Management)

Assistant Professor, Centre for Innovation & Technology

The applicant must have experience in conducting short term (upto 3 weeks) training programs (MDP), in advanced management techniques to working managers, and in developing case studies and course content. They should also have experience in offering consultancy services or conducting applied research in their chosen area. They should have some experience in interacting with senior management of Public sector undertakings, and with senior personnel in State and Union Governments.

M.Tech (Computer Science / IT) / MBA in Information Technology or any allied subjects from reputed institutes.  Candidates should have PhD in Computer Science / Information Technology/ Information Management.

  • Data Management including Big Data
  • Data Science and Analytics
  • AI/Machine Learning
  • Strategies for the Digital Enterprise 
  • Management Information Systems
  • Cyber security, IT Security, IT Governance and Risk Management

Relevant Experience

Candidates should possess experience of 2-3 years in the following professional activities:

  • Conceptualization, design and development and delivery of training programmes including teaching for Enterprises, Institutions and Government agencies. 
  • Development and delivery of consultancy and applied research projects for sponsors and clients in Government, institutional and corporate segments.
  • Teaching in Post Graduate Programmes
  • The ability to lead teams and work with peers is essential.

Job/Position Description- 

The work of ASCI is organized through various centres like Management of Finance & Economics, Human Resource Development, Urban Management, Agriculture, Education, Environment, Energy, Health care, Land and Water Resource Management, Management of Technology & Change, and Public Policy.

Remuneration: As per College norms. However, remuneration shall not be constraint for deserving candidates.
