Eligibility/Qualification–

Those who are qualified under the “Korean State Public Officials Act” (Refer to the disqualifying factors listed in Article 33.)
Professor with Doctorate degrees in the relevant field
Strong commitment to the research with an excellent track record in the field
Demonstrated ability of establishing collaboration teams and training junior scientists Demonstrated research excellency, various experiences, and leadership in the field which bring the research area to the world-leading level
Record of, or demonstrated potential for, successful research and publication in the subject research area
Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with diverse research groups

Job/Position Description-

Faculty Positions for Physics-
- No. of openings: 01
- Research Area: All areas of Theoretical Physics (Priority is given for Astrophysics or Particle Physics)
Contract Period: The initial appointment for KIAS Fellow position is for 1 to 3 years, with the possibility of a one time renewal of upto 7 additional years.
Welfare: KIAS Fellows are provided with annual salary in accordance with KIAS regulations and covered by Korean national health insurance.
