National Institute of Technology Warangal, Telangana, India invites application for Faculty Recruitment -NIT from eligible and interested candidates
About- National Institute of Technology, Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 30 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. Alumni of the institute are spaced both length and breadth wise across the world and occupied noble positions in the industry as well as academia. Faculty Recruitment -NIT
The Institute is looking for motivated and dynamic persons with passion for “Teaching and Research” and zeal to “excel in professional career”, for filling up faculty positions in the various departments at different levels.
Research/Job Area- Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
Location- NIT Warangal
Ph.D. (Metallurgical & Materials Engineering) or M. Tech. with First class in UG (Metallurgical and Materials Engineering) and PG (Metallurgical and Materials Engineering) Levels.
Note: Candidates having direct Ph.D. (completed/submitted) with first class in B.Tech. (Metallurgical and Materials Engineering) may also apply.
Applications are invited for Ad-hoc Faculty positions purely on temporary basis in the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering of NIT, Warangal.
Pay package (Consolidated): Rs.60,000/- PM for Ph.D. holders and Rs.50,000/-PM for PhD submitted or M.Tech holders

The short-listed candidates are required to attend a walk-in interview on 20th January, 2021. Selected candidates are required to join immediately.
Names of the short-listed candidates will be displayed on the Institute website by 18th January, 2021, and walk-in-interview will be on 20th January, 2021.
No separate call letter will besent to the candidates.
