Summary

The Government of India has launched a 75-week celebration of India’s 75th anniversary of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) until 15 August 2022.
INAE will publish a compendium of the 75 most significant and eminent engineering and technological achievements of the country.
Students from higher secondary and college students can participate and win up to Rs 2L of prizes.
The contest is open till Sep 26, 2021.

Eligibility/Qualification/Job/Position Description-

The Government of India has launched a 75-week celebration of India’s 75th anniversary of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) until 15 August 2022.

Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) will publish a compendium of the 75 most significant and eminent engineering and technological achievements of the country either by individuals or through collective efforts to showcase the country’s seminal achievements in this domain.

To engage higher secondary students and college students of our country and spread awareness among the Youth of India, an all-India competition has been organized inviting upto10 Landmark engineering feats/achievements since independence.

The entries received from students through this competition which match with the 75 achievements selected by INAE experts would be declared winners of attractive prizes.

How to Apply-

How to participate in the competition1. The entrant needs to propose total of up to 10 entries in each category given below:

(i)Topmost Engineering achievement/ innovation in Independent India by an Engineer working in India / Engineering Group /Institution /Corporation. The project names must be entered in this category.
(ii)Most significant Engineering and Technology innovation in Independent India by an Indian Engineer working in India. Please name of the eminent engineer.
(iii)Most eminent Woman Engineers of India (pre and post-Independence).
(iv)The criteria for selecting the projects are:
Novelty/significance/benefit/impact/value addition2.Selection:(i)Peer review
(ii)Counting the total number of ‘hits’ for each entry matched with final project names selected by INAE Experts3.INAE’s decision of selection is final
