About- Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kurnool (IIITDMK), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released an official advertisement for various faculty positions. The institute is seeking Indian Nationals with a strong motivation for quality teaching and research excellence.
Research/Job Area-
Preferred specializations at the PhD level include, but are not limited to:
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): AI, Agentic AI, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, IoT, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, NLP, and Software Engineering.
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): Communication Systems, VLSI, Embedded Systems, Drones, IoT, RFIC/MMIC Design, and Microelectronics.
- Mechanical Engineering (ME): Robotics, Mechatronics, M/NEMS, Solid Mechanics, Thermal Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
- Sciences & Humanities:
- Physics: Quantum Information, Photonics, Medical Physics, and Renewable Energy.
- Mathematics: Control Theory, Numerical Methods, and Combinatorial Matrix Theory.
- English: English Language Teaching.

Selected faculty members are expected to contribute to:
- Teaching: Delivering core and elective courses at the B.Tech and PG levels.
- Research: Conducting high-quality research, publishing in top-tier journals, and securing external funding.
- Administration: Participating in departmental and institute-level administrative duties.
Selection Process:
- Teaching Demonstration: A “chalk and talk” session on a core B.Tech course.
- Research Presentation: A PPT presentation detailing past work and future plans.
- Personal Interview: Final evaluation by the Selection Committee.
