Eligibility/Qualification –
The candidates should have a PhD degree (Botany/ Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biosciences/ Plant Science or any related field) from an Indian University/Institutes with NIRF ranking of up to 20 (overall or in respective arears) or those who have done PhD from abroad will be eligible. The candidates must have proven track record with published work at least two papers in Q1 or Q2 journals or SCOPUS/Web of Science listed journals. The upper Age Limit is 45 Years (5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidate). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Desirable qualification: Candidates having research experience in the field of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Proteomics and Microscopy will be preferred.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for the post of Raja Jwala Prasad Post‐Doctoral Fellowship with a fellowship amount of Rs. 60,000/‐pm and HRA of Rs. 10,000/‐ per month, sanctioned under Institution of
Eminence (IoE) Scheme of BHU for the duration of one year. In addition, a contingency amount of Rs. 50,000/‐ per annum will be provided. Fellows will also have access to comprehensive benefits, including health services, library and access to other resources, as per BHU rules. The position is purely temporary and co‐terminus with the project.
