Research Area

The research area focuses on the design and evaluation of AI artifacts through participatory approaches. Candidates will engage with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are practical and relevant.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent, focusing on learning technologies or AI in education.
  • Minimum average grade of B on NTNU’s grading scale.
  • Strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Proficiency in English (evidence through TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent).
  • Candidates must document Norwegian skills at a level A2 upon employment.

Job Description

The PhD candidate will:

  • Conduct literature reviews.
  • Implement participatory design activities.
  • Conduct case studies and analyze empirical data.
  • Write reports and research articles.
  • Attend international conferences and organize dissemination activities.
