Eligibility/Qualification- Candidates must be currently enrolled/matriculated in a PhD program at an accredited college. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
Seeking Ph.D degree in Chemistry, Materials Science and/or Electrochemistry.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidate must be a graduate student who has related experiences in battery research before.
Must have good written and oral communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively. Must be safety orientated.
Job/Position Description- We are seeking an outstanding graduate student to join our growing energy storage research effort. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to work on lithium battery research. The graduate student will have the opportunity to conduct the research on fundamental materials and electrolyte development. He/she also will have the opportunity to operate our advanced battery facility at PNNL.
