Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine invites applications for Post Doctoral Fellow Position at inStem from eligible and interested candidates.
About- The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem) is an Autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. inStem shares a campus with the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS-TIFR), and the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (c-CAMP), which together constitute the Bangalore Life Science Cluster.
Research/Job Area- Chemistry, chemical biology, biological sciences or computational sciences
Location- Bangalore, India
Eligibility/Qualification–
- PhD in chemistry, chemical biology, biological sciences or computational sciences
- Strong background in chemical biology, and the use of chemical probes and proteomics.
- Required expertise in quantitative mass spectrometry (with demonstrated expertise of instrument handling).
- Expertise in setting up and building high/super resolution fluorescence microscopy based imaging for quantitative cell biology.
- Expertise in working with multiple cell lines, including stable expression and manipulation, CRISPR based engineering, and high/super resolution microscopy and data analysis.
- computational skills, including basic programming capabilities , and working with R.
