Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (Digital University of Kerala), Kerala, invites applications for Post-Doctoral Fellow Position at Kerala from eligible and interested candidates.

About- Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (Digital University of Kerala) was established in 2020 by the Government of Kerala by upgrading the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Kerala. It is non-affiliating research and postgraduate teaching University in the State of Kerala to facilitate and promote studies, research, incubation and extension work in Digital Technologies and its application domains in Science, Engineering and Humanities. It is the first Digital University in the state.

Eligibility/Qualification/Job/Position Description-

Job Code Name of Post No. of Vacancies Remuneration Age	: PDFE/122022/719 : Postdoc Fellow in Neuromorphic VLSI/AI hardware : 02 : Rs . 49,000 + 18% HRA per month for Ph D holders / Rs 35000 + 18 %HRA per month for those who have submitted their thesis* : Should not exceed 40 Years as on the last date for submission of application.
Essential Educational Qualification	PhD in VLSI/Electronics/Instrumentation/Semiconductors/Product design/Smart Materials from a recognized University/Educational Institution.
Desirable	preferred to have at least one SJR Q1 research article published or one patent granted during or after PhD
Essential Experience	Practical experience in one of the following: (1) PCB/Chip design or (2) 2D material synthesis and application or (3) PCB fabrication or (4) development of electronics instruments or products
Focus Area	PCB/High speed design/Analog for neuromorphic systems2D materials/ 3D printing/Additive manufacturing/Packaging for Product design/Drones/Robotics
Project	Centre for Open Electronics and Social Innovation (OpenESI) Electronics for Social Good (ESG)
Nature of Appointment	On contract basis for 1 Year, renewable to 2 years. Those who have submitted Ph D thesis will be moved to the Postdoc scale once the degree is awarded

Essential Educational Qualification	PhD in Signal Processing/Sensors/Instrumentation/Electronics or equivalent from a recognized University/Educational Institution. OR M.Tech in Signal Processing/Sensors/Electronics or equivalent with 5 years of industry experience
Essential Experience	Practical experience in product design and modeling
Focus Area	Signal ProcessingSensors
Nature of Appointment	On contract basis for 1 Year, renewable to 3 years.

Age relaxation for submission of application:

5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Mode of Selection: The selection will be based on a test and/or Interview

Venue of Test/Interview: The test /Interview will be conducted in Thiruvananthapuram district only.
