Eligibility/Qualification:
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- PhD degree holders within 5 years from the date of PhD completion.
- Must have at least two research papers published as first author or corresponding author in reputed journals indexed in SCI/SCIE.
- Candidates who obtained their PhD from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad are not eligible for 2 years from the date of award of PhD.
- Maximum age limit: 35 years (relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms).
- Candidates should prepare an original research proposal with plagiarism similarity index below 15%.

Designation: Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow (IPDF)
Selected IPDFs will:
- Conduct advanced research under the mentorship of institute faculty members.
- Assist departments in:
- Teaching
- Tutorials
- Laboratory classes
- Research project execution
- Work as co-guides for student projects/dissertations along with mentors.
- Submit research proposals to external funding agencies.
- Present progress reports every six months and yearly performance reports before the Performance Appraisal Committee (PAC).

Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Initial plagiarism screening of research proposal.

Candidates attending offline interviews will be reimbursed Second AC railway fare by the shortest route.
Online interviews may be conducted for overseas candidates or under special circumstances.
