Eligibility/Qualification-
- Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute.
- Preference for candidates with experience in Asymmetric Synthesis/Catalysis and Computational/Theoretical Chemistry.
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting Ph.D. award may apply.
- Evidence of high-quality research during or post-Ph.D. program is required.
Job/Position Description-
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is inviting applications for two Post-Doctoral Research Fellow positions. This recruitment aims to strengthen high-quality research in Chemistry, focusing on Asymmetric Synthesis/Catalysis and Computational/Theoretical Chemistry.
Designation: Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
The appointed fellows will work on a project funded by GAIL (India) Ltd under the principal investigator Dr. Ekambaram Balaraman. The role is temporary, initially for six months, with the possibility of a six-month extension based on performance.
This position offers a monthly fellowship of:
- ₹65,000 for candidates with one year or more of post-Ph.D. research experience.
- ₹60,000 if the Ph.D. certificate is provided.
- ₹45,000 for those awaiting their Ph.D. degree (must provide a submission letter).
