Location- IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat
Eligibility-
PhD in Physics with a focus on computational work and strong knowledge of one of the following: (i) Machine Learning methods (ii) Density Functional Theory (iii) micromagnetic simulations. The candidate should have a good academic record throughout, and the percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent in Graduation and above, and 55% or equivalent grade in 10th and 12th.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for three Postdoctoral Fellow positions from candidates with relevant experience to conduct research work at IIT Gandhinagar.
Position: Post-doctoral Fellow
No. of positions: 3
Duration: 4 Months (or till 31st May 2026, whichever is earlier)
Remuneration: INR 72,000 per month (consolidated)
Job Description: The candidate will explore (i)machine learning models for spin-based systems or (ii) DFT for magnetic systems, or (iii) micromagnetic simulations of spin-based systems
