Eligibility/Qualification-

  • Essential: PhD in the biological sciences or chemistry
  • Essential: Experience in mammalian cell culture and cell biology techniques
  • Essential: Experience of subcellular radiation dosimetry
  • Essential: Experience of radio-chromatography and protein/peptide radiochemistry
  • Essential: Excellent written and oral communication skills

Job/Position Description- An exciting opportunity exists for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join our team in the Molecular Imaging and Targeted Therapeutics Laboratory on a casual basis for up to four months. The successful applicant will be involved in a project developing novel targeted radionuclide therapies for the treatment of malignant disease. Specifically, you will perform in vitro studies to assess the cellular behaviour of a novel targeted agent being developed as a treatment for neuroendocrine tumours.

 Applicants will have a PhD in the biological sciences or chemistry and experience in cell culture techniques and cell biology. Previous experience in subcellular radiation dosimetry, radio-chromatography and peptide/protein radiochemistry are essential key skills required for the position.

 Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
