About- Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, and is designed as a dynamic, interactive organization with the mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into products to improve human health.

1.	Principal Scientist-II (Computational Biology) One post Rs. 1,92,000/- 55 years	MD or M.Tech or equivalent or PhD in Bioinformatics/ Computational Chemistry/ Computational Biophysics or other related disciplines from a recognized university with at least seven years of postqualification work experience in the relevant field.	Substantial experience to supervise a computational group. Experience as Independent project investigator as lead PI in national project. A strong background (and publication record) particularly in molecular modelling, structural bioinformatics and computer-aided drug designing (CADD). Vast research experience in the Molecular Dynamics Simulation and Computational drug discovery projects. Have wide research experience of different therapeutic areas to contribute in thematic mandate of THSTI such as infection and immunity with good publication record. Experience in in-silico methods of vaccine/immunogen candidate designing. Knowledge and expertise on Linux environment

2.	i) Principal Scientist-II Rs. 1,92,000/- 55 years OR ii) Principal Scientist-I Rs. 1,50,000/- 55 years Maternal and Child Health (MCH) One post	For Principal Scientist-II MD/DNB or equivalent or Ph.D or corresponding degree in any area of Life Sciences/ Medical Sciences from a recognized university with at least seven years of post-qualification clinical research experience in the area of maternal and child health. For Principal Scientist-I MD/DNB or equivalent or Ph.D or corresponding degree in any area of Life Sciences/ Medical Sciences from a recognized university with at least five years of post-qualification clinical research experience in the area of maternal and child health. Essential: The scientist should be able to demonstrate work experience of conducting/ coordinating clinical research.	The Principal Scientist I/II will be required to: Work on interphase of epidemiology and disease biology in maternal and child health including preterm birth, fetal growth restriction, young infant sepsis and linear growth Expand the scope of integrative, multi-disciplinary research in maternal and child health by developing innovative research questions and obtaining extramural funding to sustain the programme. Supervise data collection, coordinate between clinical & laboratory population groups Provide oversight for data analysis that integrates clinical and biological data from large studies.

3.	Principal Scientist-I (Regulatory and Medical Affairs) One post Rs. 1,50,000/- 55 years	Essential qualification: MD from a recognized university with at least five years of post-qualification relevant work experience OR MBBS or BDS from a recognized university with at least eight years of postqualification relevant work experience Essential Work experience: In clinical research especially in supporting and advising on regulatory pathway, national approvals, medical affairs including medical monitoring, medical writing, pharmacovigilance and medical coding and systems for adverse event review and reporting, safety reporting and management.	This position is responsible for taking lead in the regulatory and medical aspects of clinical trial/studies. Overall responsibility to lead the team on regulatory pathway, development of protocol, medical affairs, and safety reporting. The important responsibilities of this position will be as below: • Provide regulatory and medical oversight to assigned CDSA project. Act as a lead on regulatory matters, and writing position papers as well as advising on “higher risk” studies. Responsible for dissemination of information for CDSA staff on all CDSCO/ ICMR Clinical Trials Regulation and its implications, regulatory requirements, research governance and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Serve as a liaison for medical and regulatory functions to all stakeholders – funding agencies, sponsor, investigators, project teams and provides medical and regulatory guidance throughout the life cycle of trials/studies. Provide guidance and oversee safety management, medical monitoring/coding and medical writing functions. Responsible for start-up activities inclusive of regulatory submission dossiers, wherever applicable, and managing the regulatory compliance of the clinical studies. Regulatory Science Act as regulatory lead to projects by coordinating regulatory workflow for DCGI and Institutional Ethics Committee submission and approvals, ensuring sufficient regulatory project coverage, and providing regulatory support to the team. Review and approve investigator site regulatory package documents (Statement of Investigator, investigator CVs, IRB/IEC approval documentation, consent forms, etc.). Work with the appropriate project team members to resolve queries. Maintain a working knowledge of, and assure compliance with, applicable ICH & CDSCO Guidelines, Regulatory Agency requirements and other national guidelines, and CDSA SOPs. Review, provide input and finalize responses to IEC and regulatory agencies. Medical Affairs Provide leadership to clinical trial and clinical study projects on medical and safety aspects. Review all documents assigned for scientific/ medically relevant issues including drug safety. Oversee the medical monitoring and medical coding function for all the clinical studies in which CDSA is involved.

4.	Principal Scientist-I One post Rs. 1,50,000/- 55 years	Principal Scientist-I One post-Rs. 1,50,000/- 55 years	The incumbent will be responsible to lead a research team for the discovery, characterization and development of novel monoclonal antibodies against infectious pathogens such as HIV, Coronavirus, RSV) The candidate should have sound research skills in virology, molecular biology, immunology and protein purification The candidate should be able to identify his/her top deliverables, finalize projects to achieve results whilst assuming personal responsibility for outcomes. The candidate should be proficient in preparing and running national and international grants and
			interacting across teams of scientists.

5.	Junior Research Scientist One Rs. 85,000/- 35 years	MD or M.Tech or equivalent or PhD in any other branches of Life Sciences from a recognized University with at least five years of post-qualification work experience in developing and conducting training programs in health-related topics. Desirable experience: Working knowledge in the area of virology, neutralizing antibodies and hands-on experience in the area of monoclonal antibody discovery and characterization	Experience in conducting/ handling preclinical animal studies, expert in cell culture, performing immunological Assays etc. data analysis and report writing. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in ABSL3/BSL3 facility and small animal handling.
