About- Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, and is designed as a dynamic, interactive organization with the mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into products to improve human health.

1.Process Development Scientist  
One

PhD degree in Life Sciences or equivalent from the recognized university with four years of post-qualification experience in Industry in protein or vaccine development. OR MSc degree in Life Sciences or equivalent from the recognized university with seven years of postqualification experience in Industry in protein or vaccine development.  As a key leader, the selected candidates will have the  responsibility of supervising all USP Process Transfer & Sciences activities. In order to support the launch of new/novel products, process transfers, validation, and the advancement of process technologies,. You will be in charge of pilot scalecampaign manufacturing,  technical assistance and show initiative in handling process deviations and change controls.      Responsible for coordinating lab and technical efforts to facilitate fermentor scaling up, and process enhancements. Provide guidance and coordinates USP Process Transfer & Sciences SME activities incl. GMS lab operations & studies. Establish efficient workflows.  Lead cross-functional project teams to enable process transfer, validation & process life cycle activities.  Responsible for providing technical manufacturing support through process monitoring, technical issue resolution, and involvement in operations governance meetings. Oversee technical process inquiries, analyze the underlying causes, define suitable remedial actions, and verify their efficacy. Create and evaluate change controls. Write technical reports and protocols for ongoing process verification, regulatory submissions, investigations, and process performance qualification. To direct and carry out improvements in USP process technology, process robustness, and productivity efforts, trend and analyze process data. Ø Share the technical, campaign, and project status. 
 
   
2.Senior Technical Assistant   One  
Rs. 40,000/-    35 years     
Master’s degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Computational Science/Pharma or equivalent with one year’s post qualification experience in the relevant field.   The project involves the application of advanced molecular modeling techniques, protein- protein docking, virtual screening, and large scale molecular dynamics simulations.  

Desirable: Familiarity with Molecular Modeling, Molecular Dynamics Simulation and visualization packages. Coding or scripting experience will be preferable. Should have published four or more. research articles as first author in scopus indexed journals.
Project: Small molecules inhibitor of human IGRM as a broad anti-viral agent: a preclinical study PI:  Dr. Shailendra Asthana 
3.Project Research Scientist-I One Rs. 56,000/- +HRA   35 yearsFirst Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Life Sciences/ Computational Biophysics/ Computational Chemistry or computer-aided drug designing or equivalent from a recognized university with substantial research experience and publications in the relevant field. OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD in Life Sciences/Computational Biophysics /Computational Chemistry or computer-aided drug designing or equivalent from a recognized university with substantial research experience and publications in the relevant field. Responsible to support the drug discovery projects: Experience in conventional MD, Accelerated molecular dynamics (MD) simulation such as steered MD, Metadynamics and umbrella sampling etc. Computational chemistry, Free energy analysis Establishment of target specific chemical databases. Virtual Screening (docking, pharmacophore modeling) Structure- and ligandbased drug design. Structural analysis and interaction finger printing Understanding of chemistry and biological systems. Knowledge of different free energy methods such as MM-GBSA, MM-PBSA and LIE.
Ø Interact with other field experts in the project to establish the informational pipeline between experimental methodologies and computational-biophysics and -chemistry strategies.
   
Project: Estabilishment of Centre for Advanced Research for Rapid Development of Hostdirected broad Antivirals PI       : Dr. Shailendra Asthana
4.Project Research Scientist-II
One
Rs. 67,000/- +HRA  
40 years
First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees in Life  Sciences/ Computational Biophysics/ Computational Chemistry or computer-aided drug designing or equivalent from the recognized university with three years of postqualification experience in the relevant field or PhD degree in Life Sciences from the recognized university. OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with PhD in Life Sciences/ Computational Biophysics/ Computational Chemistry or computer-aided drug designing or equivalent from the recognized university and three years of postqualification experience in the relevant field.  Maintenance of computational resources and infrastructure. Experience in advanced HPC computing, accelerated MD simulations techniques like umbrella sampling, Metadynamics etc along with their post-processing analysis. knowledge of AI/ML along with scripting is preferable.  Knowledge of different free energy methods such as MM-GBSA, MM-PBSA and LIE and its implementation in ligand parametrization. The research articles as first author in peer reviewed indexed journals are essential in the concern fields.   
5.Project Research Scientist-I One

First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Life Sciences/ Computational Biophysics/ Computational Chemistry or computer-aided drug designing or equivalent from a recognized university with substantial research experience and publications in the relevant field.
