Eligibility/Qualification–
Project Research Scientist for 3 years: (i) First class post-graduate degree including the integrated PG degree in Biotechnology/Microbial Biotechnology/Pharmacy/Microbiology or related disciplines. or (ii)M.E/M.Tech./M.Pharm. or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Microbial Biotechnology/Pharmacy/Microbiology (with at least 60% marks or first class or equivalent). NET/GATE candidates are eligible to apply.
Desirable: Candidates with knowledge and experience of chromatography-based purification, HPLC, mycology (AFST) are encouraged to apply immediately. The deadline for receiving applications is 21st March 2024.
Age limit: 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation as per the ICMR guidelines.
Job Description-
Applications are invited for the position of one (1) Project Research Scientist-I (Non medical) in the ICMR-sponsored project titled, “In vitro and in vivo Evaluation of The Functionally-characterized Broad-spectrum Antifungal Cyclic Lipopeptides Homologues of the Bacillomycin D family and their synthetic analogs against Medically Important Mucorales.”
The post is to be filled on initially for one-year, extendable up to three years or till the completion of project.
Emoluments: Rs.56,000/- per month plus HRA
