Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential qualification     Doctoral degree in Science or Master degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University. Three years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academics Institutional or Science and Technology Organization and Scientific activities and Services.  
Desirable qualification  M. E. / M. Tech. (Electrical / Electronics / E C E) with at least three years of research experience after the degree.  

Or  

Ph. D. in Electrical / Electronics / E C E / with one year of research experience. 

Candidate who have submitted their Ph. D. thesis are also eligible to apply.   60% Marks from 10th standard onwards    
Desirable  experiencePrior hands on experience with Digital Image processing is welcome Expertise in MATLAB coding.   Strong academic record and clear evidence of research focus as demonstrated by.   Excellent scientific communication and writing skills. Position Description-

NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application for the post of “Project Scientist –II (Project)” under NBRC Core Funds for MRI Data Centre

 Applications are invited for the position of Project Scientist -II (Project) in the laboratory of Prof. Pravat K. Mandal at National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, India. The primary scientific interest of the lab is to identify early in vivo biomarkers for neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer’s disease. The lab uses multi-modal neuroimaging techniques, i.e. magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), functional MRI (fMRI), and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) to investigate the associated structural, functional, and neurochemical brain alterations, respectively.  We have developed Indian Brain template, BRAHMA and Big data analytics “Bharat” fir early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.

Job Responsibilities  Project Scientist will be doing data collection, analysis and interpretation with close collaboration with the PI and have to visit collaborating institutes.
