Eligibility/Qualification–

Candidate should have PhD degree in any field of biological sciences and at least 2 years of post-PhD research experience and total of seven years experience in research and development in Industrial and academic institutions or Science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.

Desirable Qualification: Candidate should preferably have experience of work element related to the project like working under BSL3 virology laboratory and have experience in molecular biology, multi-parameter (more than 10 parameters) flow cytometry. Candidate should have proven track record to be able to understand and execute the project, be able to discuss the same among Indian and EU partners and be able to liaison with DBT and EU. Qualifications can be relaxed at the discretion of the project Investigators based on the suitability of the candidate for the project.

Job/Position Description-

Emoluments: Rs. 78000/- + HRA (The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per DST Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience).

Job description & Desired Knowledge: The project Scientist will coordinate the activities of all the Indian partners as well as EU partners. The project Scientist will communicate with DBT and EU towards smooth functioning meeting all timely regulatory requirements and documents required by funding agencies. The project scientist will help Dr. Panda and Dr. Tailor in the overall coordination of work packages (WP) and execution of experiments the of INCENTIVE program at NII.

The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
