National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha, India invites applications for Project Scientist Position at NIT from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited on prescribed format (On-line) for the temporary post of “Research Associate” for the Project (SR/20/BM/011) entitled “Drop-in compostable trash bags from waste tea Fungus” in the Department of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering based on Institute norms and regulations.

Eligibility/Qualification–
| Essential Qualification (s): | |
| M.Sc. or M.Tech from a recognized university in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science or Oceanography with at least 60% marks. Experience: Three years experience after M.Sc or 1 year after M.Tech in the relevant fields. | |
| Desirable Qualification: | |
| Candidates with NET or GATE are preferable (Not essential).Ph.D. in above mentioned subjects from any recognized university/Institute. | |
| Experience / Software / Skillset: | |
| Job Requirement: Working experience with WRF-ARW/WRF-NMM/HWRF models. Demonstrated skills in Fortran language, working experience in Unix or Linux environments, python and shell scripting, any other relevant skills. |
Age Guideline: The upper age limit for applying for the award of project position shall be 28 years, which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes / Schedule Tribes / PWD and Female applicants whereas 3 years In the case of OBCs (Non-creamy layer candidates). Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications. |
Job/Position Description-
