CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur, India invites application for Project Scientist Positions at CSIR from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited for empanelment of Project Assistants/Associate/Scientist at various levels under the externally funded/sponsored project(s) and other Projects. Area wise panels will be prepared in various areas / disciplines for their selection in various Projects as per the needs of the projects

Eligibility/Qualification–
Project Scientist-I
• Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
Upper Age Limit (years)- 35
Project Scientist-II
• Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
• Three years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Upper Age Limit (years)- 35
Project Scientist-III
• Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
• Six years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Principal Project Associate
Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
from a recognized University or equivalent
• Eight years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organizations
and Scientific activities and services
OR
• Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
• Four years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organizations
and Scientific activities and services
Upper Age Limit (years)- 40
Senior Project Associate
• Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
from a recognized University or equivalent
• Four years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institution or Science and Technology Organizations
and Scientific activities and services
OR
• Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent

Job/Position Description-
Project Scientist-I
• Monthly Emoluments (Rs.)- Rs. 56,000/- + HRA
Project Scientist-II
• Monthly Emoluments (Rs.)- Rs. 67,000/- + HRA
Project Scientist-III
• Monthly Emoluments (Rs.)- Rs. 78,000/- + HRA
Principal Project Associate
• Monthly Emoluments (Rs.)- Rs. 49,000/- + HRA
Senior Project Associate
• Monthly Emoluments (Rs.)- Rs. 42,000/- + HRA
Application Fees for each post applied= Rs. 500/- to be paid online through SBI collect
Mode of Selection: Selection is to be done on the basis of online Interview through Skype due to COVID-19 pandemic. Date of interview will be notified separately through e-mail.
After restoration of COVID-19 situation, normal interview will be conducted as per rules.
