IIT Kanpur, India invites applications for Senior Project Scientist Post at IIT from eligible and interested candidates
About- The Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, in collaboration with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, invites applications for the position of Project Scientist in an ICMR funded project focused on the development and application of a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI)-based hand exoskeleton for neurorehabilitation in stroke patients.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in a Biotechnology / Biosciences / Biochemistry / Bioengineering or any relevant discipline.
OR - MSc/MTech degree in a Biotechnology / Biosciences / Biochemistry / Bioengineering / Biophysics or any relevant discipline with at least 3 years of relevant research experience (post MSc/MTech) and at least one research publication in an SCI-indexed journal.
Desirable: Prior experience in cGMP facility for biopharma products
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for the post of Project Scientist at BSBE-MFCEM, IIT Kanpur. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis.
Title of the Project: Testing charges for equipment usage and vector production
Number of positions: One
Salary: 57,600/ month (consolidated) (31600-2600-78400)
Duration: Initially for 1 year and based on the performance extendable further.
