About- University of Delhi invites online applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A) and Professor (Pay Level 14) positions in the Faculty of Technology. The recruitment is across multiple engineering disciplines including Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Research/Job Area-
Candidates should have specialization in relevant branches of:
- Computer Engineering / Computer Science / IT / AI / Software Engineering
- Electrical Engineering / Power Systems / Control Systems / Electronics
- Electronics & Communication Engineering / VLSI / Signal Processing / Embedded Systems
(Note: A wide range of equivalent and interdisciplinary specializations are accepted as per university norms.)

Eligibility/Qualification–
For Associate Professor
- B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech (or equivalent) with First Class
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline (Mandatory)
- Minimum 6 research publications in SCI/UGC-CARE/AICTE approved journals
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including 2 years post-Ph.D.
For Professor
- B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech (or equivalent) with First Class
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline (Mandatory)
- Either:
- 6 publications + 2 Ph.D. guided, OR
- 10 research publications
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 3 years as Associate Professor or equivalent
General Requirements
Candidates from industry must have managerial-level experience with technical contributions
Minimum 55% marks at Master’s level (relaxation of 5% for reserved categories)
Strong academic record with research, publications, patents, or industry contributions
