About- Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the appointments to the following teaching posts sanctioned by Government of Maharashtra for UG (B. Tech.) courses at this institute in prescribed format of application form (Appendix-A), available on https://sggs.ac.in, https://srtmun.ac.in, and www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in and submit the completed hard copy of the application along with self-attested copies of all testimonials on or before 5.00 PM of July 14, 2023.

Eligibility/Qualification–

The candidates applying for the posts should have the following educational qualifications and experience as specified in Government Resolution, Government of Maharashtra,

A) PROFESSOR (For UG):

Essential Qualification:

a. Ph.D. Degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.

AND

b. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.

AND

c. At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/ Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.

At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC/AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.

Desirable:

Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. Copies of 5 (SCI/SCIE/ Scopus) journal papers in respective discipline to be attached with this application.

Age Limit: Not more than 54 years (vide Govt. of Maharashtra G.R. dated 10.09.2012)

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (For UG):

Essential Qualification:

a. Ph.D. Degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.

AND b. At list total 6 research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.

AND

c. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph.D. experience.

Note: In case of HMCT, 8 years of industry experience at a managerial level not below the position of Head of Department handling a team of 20 persons or more in a 4-star hotel or above category or in a similar position in the hospitality industry/tourism industry.

Desirable:

Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students are highly desirable. Copies of 3 (SCI/SCIE/ Scopus) journal papers in respective discipline to be attached with this application.

Age Limit: Not more than 50 years (vide Govt. of Maharashtra G.R. dated 10.09.2012).

B) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (For UG)

Minimum Qualification for direct recruitment as an Assistant Professor (Level — 10, Entry Pay 57700/-):

I) Engineering / Technology:

B.E. / B.Tech./ B. S. and M.E. / M. Tech./ M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.

II) Qualification for Faculties in Science and Humanities:

The qualifications for recruitment for faculty in the discipline of Basic Sciences, Social Science and Humanities shall be as per the UGC Notification No.F.1-2/2017(EC/PS) Dated 18^thJuly, 2018 and UGC guidelines issued from time to time.

Job/Position Description-

Selected candidates shall be on probation for a period of two years.

SALARY

Salary as per Government of Maharashtra rules in the following pay scales plus other admissible allowances.

ProfessorLevel – 14, Entry Pay 144200/-
Associate ProfessorLevel – 13A1, Entry Pay 131400/
Assistant ProfessorLevel-10, Entry Pay 57700/-

Each application submitted should be accompanied by a payment receipt paid through SBI Collect institute (Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Vishnupuri, Nanded) account on the head application fee for Teaching Post. Rs. 1500/- for the candidates belonging to Open Category / for Single Post and Rs. 700/- for the candidates belonging to Reserved Category for Single Post.

The interview call letters will be emailed to the eligible candidates, however details regarding the Schedule of Interview will be displayed on the website of this institute.

The shortlisted candidates are required to make presentations which includes Classroom teaching, past research and future research plans and out-reach activities (Current and Future).
