Eligibility/Qualification–

| Desirable | Preference will be given to those candidates with expertise in the area of partial differential equations and its applications, Mathematical Biology/Ecology with emphasis on reaction diffusion systems, Multiscale models and their analysis, along with publications in high visibility journals. | |
| Relevant Information | The candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis may also apply but she/he has to produce the PhD certificate/provisional certificate before joining the post. The assignment is purely temporary and it is coterminous with the project. If selected, initially the position will be offered for 01 year. Later on, it may be extended on yearly basis maximum up to total tenure of 02 years or up to the date of termination of the project (whichever is earlier) subject to evaluation of the performance. | Description of the project | It is a Project under the “Promoting Opportunities For Women in Exploratory Research (POWER) scheme” of SERB, DST India. The main objective of the project is essentially to study multiscale reaction-diffusion population models with local and non-local interactions. |
