Job/Position Description-
Assam University, Silchar invites applications for one temporary position of Research Associate (RA) under a DBT-NER funded research project focused on exploring the therapeutic potential of indigenous mushroom diversity from the Indo–Bhutan transboundary region. Eligible candidates with a Ph.D. in Life Sciences are encouraged to attend a walk-in interview.

Designation
Research Associate (RA)
- Conduct research on bioactive components of indigenous mushroom species.
- Evaluate therapeutic potential of mushroom-derived compounds.
- Assist in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and project-related documentation.
- Support the PI in achieving project objectives under DBT-NER guidelines.
