Eligibility/Qualification–
| Age Limit | Project Research Scientist I: 40 years on the date of application. Project Technical Support-III: 30 years on the date of application (For with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. norms) |
| Minimum Qualification | Project Research Scientist – I (Non-Medical) Essential qualifications: The candidate must have Post graduate degrees in biomedical sciences/biotechnology relevance to drug delivery, biological therapeutics, pharmaceutical sciences, Biotechnology. Desirable experience: PhD thesis submitted or having Research fellow experience or having previous experience in mycobacterial studies, proteomics, drug delivery, stability and characterization. Aforementioned qualification(s) must be from the recognized Board/ University/ Institute Project Technical Support-III: Essential qualifications: The candidate must have First class graduate degree (Science/ Pharmacy) + Three-year experience in relevant subject/field OR Post graduate in (Science/ Pharmacy) Desirable experience: Experience in in-vitro microbiological assays and knowledge of handling Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture and DST methods, or pharmaceutical sciences related research. Aforementioned qualification(s) must be from the recognized Board/ University/ Institute |
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from the eligible and suitable Indian Nationals for the following two posts on contractual basis as per the requirement for the sanctioned ICMR project “First in the World Challenge: A Nasal Spray Formula for Pulmonary Delivery to Control Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis MDR-TB” Id. EM/Dev/FIW/00252/2024(E-office-227016)” (Principal Investigator: Dr P Ramalingam, NIPER Hajipur) and this project will under collaborated mode with ICMR-NIRT, Chennai.

| Emoluments | Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) – Rs. 56,000.00 + 10% HRA (Posted at ICMR-NIRT, Chennai and NIPER-Hajipur) Project Technical Support-III – Rs. 28,000.00 +10% HRA (Posted at NIPER-Hajipur) Note: For all post, increment of 5% of initial emolument after two years, if performance found satisfactory) |
