About- The ICMR-National Institute of Pathology is inviting applications for a Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) position at the Safdarjung Hospital Campus in New Delhi. The position is temporary and funded by the ICMR for a project titled “Analysis of MEG3 Induced Genome-Wide DNA Methylation Patterns in Breast Cancer Cells”. Research Area: Nanobiotechnology/Nanoscience/Chemistry/Life Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Biophysics/ Molecular Biology)
Eligibility/Qualification:
First-class Masterās degree, including the integrated Master’s degrees in Nanobiotechnology/Nanoscience/Chemistry/Life Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Biophysics/ Molecular Biology) from a recognized university. or
Second-class post-graduate degree, including the integratedPG degrees with Ph.D. in the above-mentioned subjects from arecognized University. or
First-class engineering graduate degree of four years inNanobiotechnology /Nanoscience/ Biotechnology from arecognized University.
Desirable: PhD degree in the above-mentioned subjects with experience in cell culture, noncoding RNAs, Epigenetics, Next Generation Sequencing in the field of cancer.
Age limit: Upper age limit is 35 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and female candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

Investigator Dr. S. A. Raju Bagadi, Scientist D, ICMR-National Institute of Pathology.
Emoluments: Rs.56,000/- per month + HRA (as admissible under the rules) per month fixed without any other allowance

Organizations/Public undertaking/autonomous body should bring a No Objection Certificate from his/her employer. It may be noted that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
