About- Application are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of Project Scientist ‘I’ on contract basis for the ICMR funded project entitled “Brain Bank Network India Initiative”: Establishment of satellite Brain banks in India for neuroscience Research” under Dr. Anita Mahadevan, Professor of Neuropathology & Principal Investigator.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualification	1^st class Master Degree in relevant subject from recognized University with 2 years’ experience OR 2^nd class M.Sc, Ph. D degree from recognized University OR BDS degree from recognized university with 1 year experience
Desired Qualification	Experience in handling human brain tissues with knowledge of brain anatomy and banking
Maximum age limit	35 Years (Age relaxation will be given for exceptionally meritorious candidates)

Job/Position Description-

Name of the post	Project Scientist 1 (Scientist ‘B’, Non-Medical)
No. of post	1 (One) (Temporary Contractual for a period of 3 years)
Emoluments	Rs.48,000/- PM + 30% HRA
Duration of the post	3 years Initial appointment will be made for a period of one year, which will be extendable every year for three years or till the end of the project depending upon the performance of the candidate.
