Visiting Scientist in Nonlinear Dynamics for DST-SERB National Science Chair Position

Designation: Visiting Scientist

Research Area: Nonlinear Dynamics in Physics, specifically Nonlinear Optics

Location: Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024

Eligibility/Qualification: The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Physics with specialization in Nonlinear Dynamics and possess at least four years of postdoctoral experience in Nonlinear Optics.

Job Description: The Visiting Scientist will work under the supervision of Professor M. Lakshmanan, who is the Professor of Eminence and DST-SERB National Science Chair Fellow in the Department of Nonlinear Dynamics at the School of Physics in Bharathidasan University. The selected candidate will work on a temporary basis for three months in the DST-SERB National Science Chair position and receive a token honorarium of Rs.50,000/- per month. The candidate will be responsible for conducting research in Nonlinear Dynamics, specifically Nonlinear Optics, and contribute to ongoing projects in the research group. The candidate is also expected to publish research articles in reputed journals and participate in scientific meetings and conferences.
