About- A world class EMI/EMC (Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility) Test Facility is presently being established at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, which is funded by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The proposed facility would conduct the electromagnetic interference and electrical safety tests required for various electronic devices and medical instruments as per IEC 60601, CISPR 11, and CISPR 16 standards. Eligibility/Qualification–

EligibilityPhD (or equivalent degree) in Quantum Physics/Optics/ /Telecommunication/Cryptography/Relevant Discipline, or otherwise, BTech/MTech R&D Engineer with experience in Quantum Communication Technologies
Desired qualificationPost-Doctoral/Hands-on experience in Quantum Communication domains: Quantum Key Distribution (QKD)/ Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)/Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG)/Relevant Discipline 3-5 yrs. experience of handling R&D Projects as mentor/team leader
Experience3-5 years of experience in Technology management role
EligibilityPhD (or equivalent degree) in Condensed Matter Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry/Relevant Discipline Good understanding one or more areas in materials science, growth/synthesis technologies & Devices Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (for communication with T-Hubs/TGs, national/international experts, and stakeholders of NQM) Demonstrated high-level analytical ability Demonstrated capability of writing scientific/technical reports & proposals, presenting at national/international events Strong record of peer-reviewed publications, patents Capability to work independently as well as in a team MCC (NQM) has the right to relax qualifications & experience for deserving candidates with the approval of the Competent Authority.
