The minimum qualifications, experience, and reservation policies strictly adhere to the latest UGC Regulations and university norms.
- Assistant Professor:Â A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant subject, along with clearing the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC standards.
- Associate Professor:Â A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied disciplines. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks and a minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research at an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor. Evidence of high-quality published work is required.
- Professor:Â An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions. Active engagement in research with significant publications is mandatory.
