IIT (BHU) Varanasi invites applications for Project Research Scientist at IIT-BHU from eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi under an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-funded project titled “3D Bioprintable Hydrogel Implant Containing Engineered Cells for Long-Term Treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.” The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential qualifications: PhD in Electrical Engineering with Specialization in Power Systems.

Desirable qualifications: (i) Minimum two SCI/SCIE publications in last 4 years

(ii) Knowledge about local electricity market and carbon credit

Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited for one post of Project Scientist at a fixed fellowship of Rs. 55,000 per month and 16% HRA in a Army Management Studies Board (AMSB) Sponsored Project entitled “Absorption of Eco Friendly & Green Technology in the Indian Army”. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should possess the essential qualifications. PhD in Electrical Engineering with Specialization in Power Systems.The upper Age Limit is 35 Years (with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates). All other factors being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
