Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Computer Science, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related discipline (must have submitted thesis before starting).
- Strong coding background (e.g., Python, C++).
- Publications in top-tier conferences/journals.
- Experience in vision-related problems and deep learning (preferably using PyTorch).
Job Description:
As a Research Fellow, you will:
- Lead research efforts in real-time and highly accurate preoperative-to-intraoperative surgical fusion challenges.
- Develop novel approaches to address vision ambiguity, occlusions, and other surgical complications.
- Set up experiments using controlled robotic arms and various sensors on phantom models.
- Collaborate closely with computational scientists and clinical surgeons to innovate surgical planning and decision-making processes.
