Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related discipline (must have submitted thesis before starting).
  • Strong coding background (e.g., Python, C++).
  • Publications in top-tier conferences/journals.
  • Experience in vision-related problems and deep learning (preferably using PyTorch).

Job Description:

As a Research Fellow, you will:

  • Lead research efforts in real-time and highly accurate preoperative-to-intraoperative surgical fusion challenges.
  • Develop novel approaches to address vision ambiguity, occlusions, and other surgical complications.
  • Set up experiments using controlled robotic arms and various sensors on phantom models.
  • Collaborate closely with computational scientists and clinical surgeons to innovate surgical planning and decision-making processes.
