Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualification/Experience as per the norms¹	Ph.D. (thesis submitted / degree awarded) in Materials Engineering / Physics / Chemistry or related discipline. The candidate should have a good academic record throughout and the percentage / grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent in Graduation and above, and 55% or equivalent grade in 10^th and 12^th standard.
Desirable Qualification/Experience	A strong experimental background in materials engineering supported by scientific publications in reputed journals. Hands-on experience in solid-state (ball milling) and/or wet-chemical synthesis methods (sol-gel, hydrothermal), and/or sintering. Hands-on experience in XRD (Rietveld refinement), SEM, TEM, VSM, and PPMS. Experience with data plotting and analysis (MATLAB, Python, Origin, etc.) Good project management and communication skills.

Job/Position Description-

The selected candidate will work on synthesis, microstructure design, and property characterization of magnetocaloric materials.
The selected candidates are expected to train and guide Undergraduate, Master’s. and Ph.D. students, assist in the lab setup, and write manuscripts for publication.
